Introducing CEDAR Trinity 7™ - the most powerful audio surveillance software suite.

We are very pleased to announce the release of CEDAR Trinity 7.

CEDAR Trinity 7 is the latest version of our powerful audio surveillance software suite, updated to improve compatibility with external data streams and third-party devices, as well as offering several important new administration and permissions options.

Major updates include:

• A CEDAR Trinity 7 recorder can now connect to an RTSP (real-time streaming protocol) data stream, increasing the range of front-end devices that can be used.
• A CEDAR Trinity 7 recorder can now mount the folders of selected third-party recorders and copy their audio into CEDAR Trinity assets. Any mounted folders will then be monitored continually for new audio and the associated assets updated when appropriate.
• Administrators can now map network resources to local drive letters and store User credentials for them. This allows the CEDAR Trinity recorders to mount third-party recorder folders across a network, and also extends the available locations for CEDAR Trinity assets beyond the local drives.
• A new Permissions flag enables/disables the ability of a given user to view other users’ log entries.
• These additions complement existing features such as CEDAR's unique AI-based speech detection, varispeed without changing the pitch and timbre of the voices, and Isolate™, which enables you to separate one or more wanted speakers from noise and other speakers that would otherwise contaminate the wanted signal.

I suspect that the addition of RTSP streaming and ability to obtain audio from third-party devices such as WireOnAir and Innova recorders will be the most important of these, because they greatly increase CEDAR Trinity’s compatibility and usability in the surveillance world as it is today.
