Spectral Editing & Precision Audio Repair

Isolated, time-specific audio problems such as a microphone knock, chair squeak, camera click, a passing car, mobile phone notification or distant siren can all contaminate otherwise usable dialogue, often overlapping with the wanted performance in ways that require surgical precision to repair.

Retouch™ uses CEDAR's spectral editing technology and provides an exceptionally detailed view of audio, revealing fine structure that can be difficult to see in conventional spectral editors, especially in the low frequencies. This ultra-high resolution allows post-production professionals to identify and remove unwanted sounds with exceptional precision and minimal impact on the surrounding dialogue, ambience or effects.
